TRENDS Spring/Summer 17: ANKLES

Spring is fast approaching! You can already see tiny fragments of green grass and even crocuses or snowdrops on the lawns. Do you still have heavy winter boots on your feet? It's still too cold for sneakers, let alone ballet flats, so what to wear? BOOTS! This is what the greatest fashionistas wear - Chiara Ferragani, Olivia Palermo and Ines dela Fressange. They conquered Paris, rainy London and New York. But what do we know about them, after all, they are winter shoes. Well, no! Boots stay with us also in spring! And you'll soon see why!

Boots appeared in trends already in the fall. Slightly above the ankle and on a high heel. No crazy stuff. However, spring brought us a breath of freshness this time too. The catwalks are dominated by expressive, crazy and colorful ones.

They can be in colorful florals like at Emilio Pucci or gold and mirror like at Louis Vuitton. Or maybe you prefer the ones shown by the master of combining kitsch and art, Muccia Prada, at her show?

Crazy and ugly shoes are one of the strongest trends of this season! We are unlikely to see such spectacular designs on Polish streets, but why shouldn't we decorate our styling with a compromise between fashion, comfort and usability? Or maybe it would be best to combine trends? Or maybe it's better to go for a classic? It depends, as usual, on mood, weather and a million other variables. Here are some of our suggestions!

A solid complement to everyday styling is a classic ankle boot with a comfortable high heel.

You can easily add character to a casual outfit with heavy boots. If you believe that comfort is essential and you are always in a hurry, this will certainly be a good choice for you.

Brown, which has not been seen for a long time, has returned to us in spring collections. At first it was only a companion in the form of accessories, but now it appears as a full-fledged and even leading color in the styling. A chocolate brown shade is the stars' favorite shade, but you can also opt for a cognac or slightly coppery shade of brown. What does it fit? For everything. For bottle green, for saffron yellow, it goes beautifully with white and, of course, all shades of cream and brown.

Just remember not to go crazy and transfer the autumn earring trend to shoes! :)
