Use massage oil or regular olive oil and rub it on your feet. Then massage them over the painful points, focusing on the area around the toes, arch and heel. You can also use a special massager with insets.

For additional relief, soak your feet in special salt beforehand. Such action will not only soften rough skin, but also reduce inflammation and pain.

Stretching may be the culmination of the massage. Feet relaxed with a massage is the most susceptible to such treatments. Sit back and stretch your ankle and toe joints with your hands. If you can't reach it, you can use resistance bands designed for exercise, old tights, or a belt from your robe.

Frozen water or a tennis ball

Sensory walk

Sensory paths are loved by the youngest. They are also appreciated by their parents, who are aware of their beneficial influence on the child's posture. However, nothing prevents an adult from taking a sensory walk!

A dozen or so minutes of barefoot walking on grass, gravel, small pebbles or sand is enough. Although it may seem uncomfortable at first, you won't even know when you feel relieved.

Make sure your shoes fit properly

If none of the methods described bring you relief, the problem may be with poorly fitting shoes. They may not be rubbing your heels or blistering. Nevertheless, they may turn out to be too narrow. In the case of heels, pay attention to the support of the arch of the foot.

Good footwear is one that suits you both in length and width, and also provides a little extra space for swollen feet. Shoes that are too stiff and too light may offer insufficient support, so we suggest that you do not use such models.

Inserts for shoes

A common cause of foot pain is also improper posture, which puts additional strain on them. In order to properly distribute the load on the foot, it is worth using properly profiled insoles for shoes.
