Most of us know our foot size, and when buying shoes, we also realize that the sizes of individual manufacturers differ, so it is always worth looking at the "size chart", which will allow us to quickly find out whether, for example, size 42 of the XX brand, which we usually buy, corresponds to size 42 of the YY brand, which we are about to buy. Sometimes it happens that people do not remember their shoe size or are confused by different sizes. There is a way to do this, and at the same time one of the most reliable methods for selecting shoes in a boutique, and especially those purchased in online stores - determining the internal length of the shoe insole.
How to determine the length of the shoe insole? - Please measure your foot length. We place our foot in a sock on a sheet of A4 paper, outline its shape, and then measure the distance in centimeters between the two most protruding points on the foot contour, i.e. from the tip of the farthest toe to the heel. (Remember to measure both feet, sometimes one of them may be shorter). We add 0.5-1 cm to the result, following the principle that the plumper the foot, the greater the margin. The result obtained is the length of the inner sole of the shoe. Each shoe manufacturer is obliged to provide the length of the shoe insole in centimeters, which is assigned to a specific size. Some manufacturers, for example, assign a 27 cm long insole to size 40, others to 41, and still others to 42. When buying shoes online, without the possibility of trying them on, remember that it is worth considering only the length of the inner insole and not the size - this way we will avoid disappointment with shoes that are too small or too large.
