But speaking of shoes...

Footwear has always fascinated and inspired. Not only that, as you can see in the example above. It can be added that the so-called flapper girls, or tomboys, owe their name to shoes. This is the characteristic sound made by the wellingtons worn by them. Old times, oh old times, but the Flapper Girls theme can be observed in some new films. Do you know any title?

And there was a time when you didn't wear shoes!

We know how it sounds! However, it is worth knowing something about the moment when people started wearing shoes REGULARLY. It turns out that only after the war did villagers in Poland start wearing shoes, regardless of the season. Previously, shoes were only put on in winter and frost. Alternatively, they were put on when entering the church. But not on the road - this one was still traversed barefoot.

And what about Marie Antoinette?

We don't know if you have watched the movie "Marie Antoinette", which was a biography of this famous woman. However, in the video you can see that the Queen had as many as 500 pairs of shoes for various occasions. Each pair was handmade, with meticulous attention to detail to please Marie Antoinette. Additionally, a maid took care of the shoes - taking care of the royal shoes was her only and most important task.

Shoes, oh shoes – who would have guessed, right? However, we know that many people are curious about such information, and we are happy to share it. After all, who would have thought that only a few dozen years ago the inhabitants of Poland could walk without shoes or that Wellington boots create a certain feminine image?
